Marina Photonics is dedicated to Gigahertz affordable Time-Correlated photon counting systems and has been supplying high speed photon counters since 1987. Affordable means less than $5000 for most complete systems. Three or four channels of photon counting are available with sustained correlated count rates and no dead time or lost counts or FIFO limit. There is no start-stop reset time limiting sustained count rates. Once photon counting is triggered, the counter places photon counts in 1.25ns or 625 picosecond bins onto the computer disk through USB 3 until the process is finished or temporarily stopped by gating the counting. The number of counts to be collected is chosen by software. The photon counter board has a manual or an external input trigger to precisely start data collection and gating to collect only relevant data..

Software - Data is stored on computer disk by a call to a command line program IDL 3-D analysis software interface is available that can be upgraded for custom applications. Any user software that can read binary files from disk may be used. Note: One year warranty applies to hardware and software updates.
